Hey everyone!
Come on out for the this week’s speed workout! Tonight’s workout will have a bit of everything in it and will be useful for people training for 5k up to marathon or just wanting to do some quicker running.
When & Where: 6:30pm at light post 8301 behind the Met.
What: 4-6x 600m/200m moderate jog/400m on 90″ standing rest
600m effort: Should be a quick but sustainable effort; probably around your 10K pace or a pace you could hold for 30-45 minute race
200m moderate jog: goal is to be approximate pace you’d run if just out for a normal run
400m: ~5K effort or a pace you could hold for ~20 minute race
Note: If using as a marathon workout recommend slowing the paces to Half & 10K efforts and keeping 90″ rest as a moderate jog instead of standing rest.

Hope to see everyone there!
