Come for a workout occurring entirely on a groomed dirt surface!
When: Wednesday, September 19, 2018 730PM
Where: Meet at Great Hill Track, which is easily accessible just inside the park on the west side, at about 103rd Street
What: Yasso 800s, a TRD speed staple
3-5 800s according to the following formula:
Imagine an ideal marathon finishing time, say 4:00 (4 hours, 0 minutes)
For your 800s, you will aim to run it in 4:00, too (4 minutes, 0 seconds)
After each 800, you will job approximately 400 meters at an easy pace.
That’s it, you’ve completed one rep! Repeat for as many as you choose to run, up to 5 in total.
At any time, you will be in sight of all others doing the workout.
Come on out for an enjoyable speed workout.
