We will be meeting at our regular spot behind the Met at 7:00 and then warming up to the west side to do some intervals on rolling hills. This is part of the Brooklyn Half training plan but is a great workout for anyone interested in doing some speed work. There will be options for those training at a lower volume (A) or a higher volume (B).
A: 8x 400m @ 5k pace (effort if racing for 20 minutes) on 200m jog or 1’ standing rest
B: 12x 400m @ 5k pace (hard effort) on 200m jog or 1’ standing rest
For anyone who is late or doesn’t want to schlep east, we will be doing these repeats on the West Drive Hills, starting at 84th to 102nd.
