Hey all,
Crazy to believe but ski/snowboard season is just about upon us! Every year we do an ‘unofficial’ trip up to Vermont for a weekend. We’ll take a bus Friday afternoon and arrive ~10pm to check into our rented condos. In addition to skiing and/or snowboarding there tends to be some partying on the bus ride up and a Saturday evening trip to the Wobbly Barn!
Details here:
Who:
Res Dogs & their friends who want to go!
Trip is open to beginners and advanced skiers and snowboarders.
In the past some folks have come and not skied and gone snowshoeing or snowmobiling. Really up to you!
When:
Friday, Jan 26 – Sunday, Jan 28; depart ~4pm on Friday and return ~9pm on Sunday
Where:
Killington Mountain in Vermont
Cost:
~$525 + Rentals
This includes 2 nights lodging, 2-day lift ticket and a chartered bus there and back.
2-day rental: $68

A $250 deposit will be due by 12/8 with the remainder of the final balance due in late December (final cost will be dependent on # of people that attend)

Quick update…some folks have asked about non skiing activities. Lauren and Rob are compiling some additional details around tubing, snowshoeing, x-c skiing and others such as price, location, hours, etc and I will post once I have it.
Here are some early details regarding non-ski/boarding activities available at Killington!
Right on the mountain, we have the snow tubing park, the beast coaster, snowshoeing, or scenic gondola rides to the peak lodge – a nice place to grab food / beer with great views. This year we are also adding ski bike rentals out of Snowshed Base Lodge .
Off-mountain in the surrounding Killington area, there are snowmobile tours, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing at Mountain Meadows, fat biking at Mountain Meadows, and indoor rock climbing down in Rutland (20min drive).
