Hey everybody!

As we have now entered February and are firmly entrenched in the depths of winter, it’s time for the annual TRD Winter Olympics!

For those who might not know, every winter through February and early March we have games at Dorrian’s after MNR as a way to keep spirits high and people engaged while we’re slogging through the harshest weather of the year. We tally points for all the events in which you compete (and place!), and at the end of the Olympics, the top three on the leaderboard all get prizes.

Points:
For each week:
1st gets 4 points (if a team/pairs competition, the winning team members each receive 4 points, and so on)
2nd gets 3 points
3rd gets 2 points
All participants get 1 point

We will begin the 2024 Winter Olympics on Monday, Feb. 12. The tentative schedule of games is below:

Feb. 12: Cookie Challenge
Feb. 19: Trivia
Feb. 26: Milkshake chugging challenge
March 4: Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament
March 11: Flip cup

In addition to the games commencing, Feb. 12 will also be our annual hot chocolate run! Brett, as he generously does every year, will have hot chocolate prepared for us as the completion of our run. So we will run, enjoy a warm beverage in the park, and then head over to Dorrian’s to begin the games!
