Hey everyone,

Forgive my pun, but I have more details to share about the annual TRD Summer Soiree next month! It will take place Aug. 19 at 7 pm at Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club in Brooklyn! We are reserving multiple shuffleboard courts for those who want to play, but we’ll also have booths for people who would rather sit and hang out.

Before we get to more particulars, I have a semi-urgent request: Can you please fill out the form below to let me know 1) if you plan to attend and 2) if you will be bringing a +1? The number of people we have determines how much space we need (and ergo cost), so I want to be as accurate as possible.

Other FAQs:

Where is Royal Palms?
It’s located at 514 Union Street in Brooklyn off the Union Street R stop, and also a 10-minute walk from the Atlantic Avenue/Barclays Center 4/5/6, 2/3, B/Q stops.

Can I bring a +1?
Definitely! Just make sure to indicate that on the Google Form so we have an accurate headcount

Will there be food?
Royal Palms does not sell its own food but partners with local food trucks that operate out of the facility. We won’t know ahead of time what trucks will be there on a given day, but there will be food available to purchase

What about drinks?
Definitely! There are per-hour packages that go along with our court reservations

Do I have to pay?
We’re still working out the final numbers (again, please fill out the sheet ASAP), so we don’t know just yet. If you are required to pay anything, it likely would not be more than $25pp. But I will let you know when we have everything set
