As previously announced, the TRD summer soiree will be on Saturday, August 13th. This year we’re mixing it up a bit, with not one but two fun locations!
From 5pm-8pm we’ll be at Island Oyster, the Governor’s Island beach bar with gorgeous views of Manhattan. (To get to Governor’s Island, on the way there you have two options–the NYC Ferry, which leaves from Pier 11 at 4:04, 4:34 and 5:04; or the Governor’s Island Ferry, which leaves from 10 South Street at 4:40pm or 5:15pm, and puts you very close to the bar.) We’ll have sunset cocktails before taking the 8:30pm ferry back to Manhattan. (Note that the ferry costs $4 roundtrip or is free with your IDNYC.) Then, we’ll walk together to Dorlan’s Tavern & Oyster Bar on Front St. (roughly a 15-min walk along the water) where the team will be providing light bites to soak up those cocktails. If you plan to join us for just the Dorlan’s portion, expect us to arrive there at 9pm. Then, stay as late as you like (or until they kick us out!)
While anyone can show up to the event, to give us a sense of how many people we’ll be feeding, we’d very much appreciate if you could RSVP here by Monday, August 8th.
