We are doing our annual run through Randall’s Island to the Bronx Brewery. Gov’s Ball is this weekend, but we’ll be running on the opposite side of the fairgrounds en route to the foot bridge leading up to the Bronx. We good!
– Location: Meet at the SE bridge to the reservoir at ~E 84th St, behind the MET. Google Maps calls it the South Gate House. This is our normal spot.
– Time:
10 mi: 10:30 am, usual bridle path run ( https://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=6645457) and then
5-6 mi: 11:15 am http://www.mappedometer.com/?maproute=690225
The brewery opens at 12pm. We can order from nearby restaurants and there sometimes is a food truck in their lot.
The weather calls for spotty showers throughout the day, but cloudy from 10-1 during our run. If it’s pouring, we’ll cancel the run, but assume it’s going forward if no update is on this board.
