Hello All! How is it the end of August already?! Tonight’s speed workout will be in Central Park and we’ll be doing some 600 m repeats.
WE WILL MEET AT THE USUAL WEDS NIGHT SPOT (SOUTHERN PUMP HOUSE, ~E 84TH ST, BEHIND THE MET) AT 7:30 PM. The workout will be starting at around 7:40 PM on East Drive, just opposite the Hamilton monument, if you’d prefer to meet there.
1. Warm-up: We will warm up together along the East Drive to the start (Hamilton monument).
2. Workout: 600 m @10K pace*/ 60 sec recovery (standing/walking/jogging – your choice) x 8-10 reps
*If you don’t know what your 10K pace is, let me know and we can work this out later.
I’d recommend that you bring a watch. I won’t be running the workout so will be happy to hold some small items so that you can get the most out of your workout.
It’s #RDRW, so please try to wear your Res Dog gear, or something red!
