Hey y’all! The message board has officially has some Southern flavor! The Percy Sutton Harlem 5K is this Saturday! The race starts at 8:30 AM. We have a lot of Res Dogs competing in the race, and we need even more to come out and cheer them on! For cheerers and runners that want to meet up before and after, our meeting spot will be between 128th and 129th on St. Nicholas (east side). This spot is close to the train for those taking the subway, and close to the finish for post-race meet-up.
Let’s plan to start congregating between 7:45-8:00. Wear your red and get ready to cheer!
The Post-Race plan is to walk to brunch at La Shuk as a group for brunch. It is located on Lex b/t 101st and 102nd Street. They open at 10. We have a reservation for 10:15. Jimmy and those participating in the regular SMGR will meet us there for a SMGR Merger (Read: SMERGER MERGER). Jimmy will make that post later this week.

Just kidding. Some clarifications on Russell’s post — the 7:45-8 AM meet up time is for anyone racing, if anyone would like to meet up for a warm up. For those who are not running and only planning to come cheer (please do!!!!), let’s congregate closer to 8:30. D will be there, and that should give plenty of time to see the lead racers.
