Happy Monday and happy NYC MARATHON WEEK(!) to everyone running Sunday! I just wanted to give you all a quick reminder of what we’ve got going on this week. If you have any questions, please let me know!
Friday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m: NYC Marathon Pasta Dinner at La Mela restaurant in Little Italy (167 Mulberry Street). We are still accepting RSVPs through tomorrow for this! Cost is $48pp and you are welcome to come whether or not you are running the marathon. RSVP here: https://forms.gle/7UqKPSkHrDFwSEwb8
If you have RSVP’d yes, money is due via PayPal (email@example.com) or Venmo (@rmandrac88) by EOD Tuesday. If you initially RSVP’d yes but can no longer attend, that’s fine! I just have to know by EOD Tuesday.
Sunday, Nov. 5 at 10:30 a.m.: Marathon Cheer Squad! We will meet starting at about 10:30 a.m. Sunday at our normal spot (1st Avenue and 114th Street, Mile 19, runner’s right). The first Res Dogs will come by from approximately 11 a.m. (give or take a few minutes) until the mid-afternoon.
If you are running and want something specific at the table: a specific type of gel, Gatorade, or other race day treat, please hand it off to me at the pasta dinner and we will make sure you get it as you run by.
In order to keep our cheer squad well-nourished, we’re asking a few volunteers to bring food/snacks (TRD will reimburse you for this!)
Sunday, Nov. 5 at 2 p.m.: We will have our annual post-race celebration at George Keeley (83rd and Amsterdam). We have a table reserved starting at 2 p.m., and we’ll be there through the afternoon and evening (I believe we were there past 9 last year). So after you finish running/cheering, trickle over that way and we will all celebrate together!
Finally, here is your list of runners to track while we’re cheering!:
De Checchi, Loic
Filut, Dara Lynn
If anyone has any questions about any of that, please let me know! Looking forward to a great marathon week filled with fun and PRs. See you all soon!
