Congratulations we have reached the taper weeks : ) Thanks to Will and Gabe for stepping in while I was away. Here is this weeks workouts for Chicago. These last three weeks are to rest our legs and make sure that we are fully rested and ready to go on October 7th. At this point you have done all the training. Do not try and force in some extra miles or speed workouts. Trust the plan. You do not want to risk an injury because you tried pushing yourself too much these last couple of weeks.
Meet: 7pm 400 meter mark behind the met. Approximately 84th street and east drive
Workout: 6-8x 800m @ MGP on 400m jog
Meet: 7pm Daniel Webster monument west side of 72nd transverse (workout will be on the west side)
Workout: 1-2 mile warm up, 10 miles @ MGP, 1-2 mile cool down
13-17 easy miles
