I hope everyone is well and getting settled into their new ‘normal’ for the time being. For those continuing to run tonight’s workout calls for a 1+ mile warm up followed by a 4-5 mile tempo run. Ideally you’ll get a 1+ mile cool down in after – normally this would be our jog to Dorrians. 🙁
Remember tempo pace should feel quick but manageable. It’s the pace you’d hold for a half marathon down to about a one hour race. If you’re doing this on rolling hills (ie, CP loop) keep your effort consistent. You’ll be a bit quicker on the downhill and slower on the uphill but overall should work out to that tempo pace.
