When there’s no precipitation, the evenings this time of year are delightful. That’s why with temperatures around 60 a short-sleeved shirt (or singlet!) is ideal for this week’s workout, some lower loops with a few 400s for dessert.
We’re working on steady pace this week, each lower loop of 1.71 miles (2.75 kilometers) offers the chance to get into a steady rhythm. After the lower loops, the topper will be 400s on The Mall (Literary Walk).
We will meet at the usual location, the Southern Pump House bridge, at 730p and warm up to 72nd Cross Road at Bethesda Fountain. If you are late or it is more convenient, meet us at 740p on 72nd CR.
A workout: 2x lower loop with 2-minute standing recovery; 2x 400 meters with 1-minute standing recovery
B workout: 3x lower loop with 2-minute jog recovery; 3x 400 meters with 1-minute jog recovery
