A note from the coaches: These alternations will build up on you. The goal is to maintain a steady pace throughout. As with the 3/2/1 workout, the idea here is that the reps are short enough that you can go hard, but the recoveries are also short, so after a few reps the fatigue and lactate start to accumulate. These train your aerobic efficiency as well as your body’s ability to clear lactate.
