Hi all!
The home stretch is really upon us! Less than 3 weeks until race day. While the workouts still stay fairly lengthy this week your overall mileage from last week should be coming down.
Week 11 training details here:
Tuesday, October 16th
Meet for warm up: 1-2 miles on your own
Meet for workout: East Drive inside Central Park behind the Met (~84th St)
Workout: 1-2 mile warm up, 6-8x 800m @ MGP on 400m jog, 1-2 mile cool down
Where: 400m markers along East Drive
Thursday, October 18th
Meet for warm up: 1-2 miles on your own
Meet for workout: Engineer’s Gate at 7:30pm
Workout: 1-2 mile warm up, 8-10 miles @ MGP, 1-2 mile cool down
Where: 10 mile Course: We will do the MNR loop (can start with ThNR) and then run the loop up beyond the pool/ice rink, over to the park exit at 110th St & 5th Ave onto the race course for the last ~3.5 miles
Saturday, October 20th
On your own
Workout: 13-17 miles easy

UPDATE: We will meet at 7pm at Engineer’s Gate to start the 10 mile tempo run. Warm up will still be on your own as you see fit.
