Here is this weeks workouts for Chicago. Notice tonight we are meeting at engineers at 7:05 for the warm up miles and 7:30 behind the met for the workout. Please be careful with the heat this week. Make sure you adjust your times accordingly and drink a lot of fluids including electrolytes.
Meet for warm up: 7:05pm Engineers Gate
Meet for workout: 7:30pm 400 meter mark behind the met. Approximately 84th street and east drive
Workout: 10-14 400’s@5k with 200 meter recovery
Meet: 7pm Daniel Webster monument west side of 72nd transverse (workout will be on the west side)
Workout: 4x 1.5 miles @ MGP on 400m jog
Saturday (Multiple options depending on if you raced a half last weekend)
16-18 easy miles (if you raced a half last weekend)
17-19: 3-4 easy, 3 @ MGP, 5-6 easy, 3x 1 mile @ HMP, on 3′ jog, 2 easy (or you could race a half)
