Set your alarms! Get up early on Sunday morning to track your fellow Res Dogs running the Berlin marathon [virtual cheer squad — race start: 2:50am ET] and then head up to the Bronx to cheer on the 25+ Res Dogs covering the fun and fast Bronx 10-miler.
Cheer squad will be at at the intersection of Tremont and Grand Concourse (accessible via the D and 4 trains) — same spot as last year along the out-and-back on Grand Concourse, mile 1.5 going out and mile 8 coming back.
On the out leg we’ll be on runners’ left (west side of Grand Concourse) and for the runners’ return trip down Grand Concourse will try to cross the street to be on runners’ left at mile 8, but movement will depend a bit on crowds. So, just look for red and listen for the cowbell. 🙂
Race starts at 8am, and I plan to be to the cheer spot by 8:05-10am.
There is no official brunch planned for after, but feel free to look for your fellow Dogs at the finish and see what folks are up to. You can also post up on the private FB group to organize.
Best of luck to all the runners! #morecowbell
