Workout: Yasso 800s. 3-6 800s at Yasso-computed pace.
To determine your Yasso pace, identify your goal marathon finish time. If your goal marathon time is 4:00:00, then your target pace for the 800 is 4:00. If your goal marathon is 3:25:00, then your target pace for the 800s is 3:25.
How to do the workout: in pace groups, complete your 800 at the targeted pace. Once you finish, jog in reverse direction one 400. You've completed one.
This is a great opportunity to do some speed work on a dirt track!
