This week the Wednesday night workout brings in March like a lion with timed fartleks! It's an ideal way to tune up for the spring season and it's a good workout for your watch, too.
We'll meet at the Southern Pump House at 730p and warm up to the top of Cat Hill. If you are late or it is more convenient please meet us atop Cat Hill at ~740p.
We will be running between Cat Hill and the 102nd Cross Road. The workout is a 3-minute pickup followed by 60-second jogging recovery. The goal is intense work during the pickup and then to keep moving during the recovery.
This will be a shorter workout than others as a nod to Sunday's Washington Heights 5k (aka Coogan's): Beginner x4, intermediate x5, advanced x6. Distance: ~2.5-4 miles (pickups and recoveries only, depending on pace and quantity).
